About Us

Operating from our Peterley Road depot, Isis Rescue was established in 1996 to provide vehicle recovery and repair services in the Oxford area. Through our association with Hopcrofts Holt Service Station, however, we draw upon more than 35 years experience of the vehicle repair and recovery business. Our knowledge of the industry has underpinned our rapid expansion in recent years, which in April 2005 saw the acquisition of A.R. Mills recovery business providing us with an additional depot and workshop facility in Banbury. In August 2008, we opened our brand new Training Centre at our Hopcrofts Holt site, further demonstrating our commitment to the continuous training and development of our staff. Refusing to rest on our laurels, the Company continues to grow and improve on its already enviable reputation in the industry. In November 2008, we further expanded the range of services we are able to offer our Customers by investing heavily in the equipment and personnel necessary to cater for the needs of the commercial vehicle recovery market. This was seen as an important step in becoming a 'one-stop' shop for our Customers regardless of the size and type of fleet they operate. In under 2 years, we have increased our fleet from 1 to 7 commercial recovery vehicles, including two dedicated service vans and a Trax sliding axle low loader trailer. Our diversification into this area of the market certainly represents one of our many success stories in recent years. 

Managing Director Brian Weedon has been the chief architect in shaping the way the business has grown over the years which has seen us build up a fine reputation for our services in the process. Now aided by his two sons, the strength of this family-run business lies in the friendly, efficient and professional service provided. It is no coincidence we are endorsed by the biggest names in motoring assistance and are contracted agents for Green Flag and the AA amongst others.

Operating a fleet of 35+ tracked vehicles installed with TomTom WORKsmart for job dispatch and 2-way messaging, we have all the resources necessary to deliver ISO 9001/PAS 43 certified quality recovery services for motorists.

Who we work for

We are a preferred supplier for most of the UK's major motoring organisations, government agencies and insurance companies. We have also established partnerships with a number of local dealerships, bodyshops, vehicle financing companies and other Vehicle Recovery Operators. The general motoring public accounts for the rest of our business.
